What are the major improvements of the wt-46809 over the older 46807?

I can get a really good close-out deal on the 807, but if the 809 has better features, I'd rather go with that. Is there an improvemnet on the picture formats (i.e. stretched, zoom, expand, etc.) Thanks, as I cannot get my hands on an 809 floor demo.

there are no major benefits to getting the 809, especially if you cna get the 807 at a great deal. I have seen it for <2k. I just sold mine (<8 mts old and had ISF calibration) for $1500. I'm betting you cna get a 809 for about the same money as an 807???

1) I needed a bigger set. I changed the arrangement of my HT setup and although the 46" looked big when I first bought it, I soon found that I needed MUCH bigger, so I got the 65819 at a brick & mortar store for $2900.

2) the 46" is PLAGUED with geometry problems......I was never happy with it, even after repeated service menue tweeking by a mits tech as well as an isf tech. I hav eno such issues with the 65" straight out of the box!

Unless you have size restraints that require you to get the 46" I suggest you get as big a set as you can......the prices are not much more IF you can haggle with the sales rep!
