Please help!!! Losing picture...cutter
Nov 29, 2001 7:17 AM
Hi guys

A couple of days ago i noticed that while watching DVDs from my TV's input AV1, the TV would switch momentarily to AV2 and then back to AV1. This happens quite a few times and it's not a problem of a specific DVD disk. Anyone has seen this before?
My TV is the Sony 32FX65 and my DVD the Sony NS900.

Thanks in advance.

That would be the simplest explanation. You might want to hide the TV remote and see if the problem still occurs. Otherwise, I would guess that it's the TV, since your DVD player doesn't control the TV inputs. Sony TVs have had very spotty reliability in recent years, and their early production Wega models were nothing short of disastrous.

Or check outside for a neighbor hiding in the bushes with a remote. Great practical joke, btw!!

Maybe I should try it out with these a-hole former neighbors who once accused my roommates of vandalizing their satellite dish (which we never touched of course). Get one of those DirecTV UHF remotes and start ordering pay-per-view with it while they're at work, or randomly changing the channels on them while they're at home!
