| Technics DVD-10 a good first DVD player? | BelgianBeer Nov 29, 2001 7:58 PM | | OK, I'm probably one of the few people that wanders onto this site on a semi-regular basis that hasn't jumped into the DVD melting pot. I've read a few nice recommendations for the Techincs DVD-A10 at a reduced price. Hear is my wishlist:
1st- and formost, picture.
2nd-Ease of use. Can't stand it when you have to read the manual every time.
3rd-Sound quality. I would like something that sounds decent.
4th-Ergonomics. Bad remotes suck, so do units that make you go through menues just to see how much time has elapsed, or fast and slow motion that is impossible to see clearly, etc.
5th-Build quality. I think disposible products are an insult and ripoff-"Only rich people can afford to repeatedly buy cheap products"
Is this "THE" player? |
