has anyone ever got a sygmoidoscopy? I have to give myself and emema before I go to get mine. The doc is going to stick some kind of thing up my rectum into my large intestines. I don't think I'm going to enjoy it.

Relax. It's really more the thought of what they're doing than any real discomfort, let alone pain.

I remember when I had to get one, the doctor kept telling me to "relax." Well, I had so psyched myself out about the procedure that my hind quarters were tighter than a drum. Finally he told me to just pant like a dog and that would naturally relax me. Picture it: my bare butt pointed up towards heaven as I'm doing my best Benji imitation. Despite that, it did work and everything was just peachy.

Hope it's just a checkup and nothing serious.

Fellas, Fellas,....c'mon now. Thanks for the imagery jimmy, but dude, doesn't this belong on RectalReview.com? and where's our trusty monitor at? Don't bag on Sony, but by all means, share some rectum anecdotes. I for one do not look forward to that 40th birthday (less than 10 years away) physical, and prefer to pretend that it's never gonna happen. How can I do that with posts like this on here? Not to mention ruining Benji movies forever for me!
