need smallish, cheap ($150) center channelserious

i'm looking for a smallish center channel. it's going on top of a 27" tv in a pretty small room, so i don't need anything big. i have about 150 to spend on it. i watch a lot of movie which are nearly all dialogue, so voice reproduction is key. ones i've been looking at are the polk cs101, kenwood kvs52, and the psb alpha. any suggestions would be appreciated.

i'd stay away from kenwood and go polk...you can get the paradigm cc170 for pretty cheap too
Whatever you get........Smokey

....make sure that center speaker does match tonally (timbre match) with your Left and right speakers as this will give seamless panning effect and will blend in with your speaker set up tonally.
Whatever you get........grunge

hit up ubid and find an infinity center. Great sound for the price. Infinitys will sound good next to almost anything but what kind of fronts do you have. depending on that you may want to get a diff center.
i've got psb alpha a/v fronts. nmserious

What I would do is take a trip to etronnics.com and get the jbl s-center channel speaker. It sells for $250 at best buy and you can get it for $139 at etronics. Or you can get the yamaha there for like $90, which retails $150 at best buy. But just check the reviews for those two here and see for yourself

I bought a Kef Centre Q95.2 to replace a much too large B&W CSM - For the money £100 ($70) it is incredible.... When used with the Q15 bookshelf speakers it works brilliantly! I am sure that you will be able to get this fine Limey kit in the US.....

I recently replaced a B&W CC3 for a new CC6 S2. It was used for about 8 months. I have all original packaging including the plastic that it was wrapped in. If you're interested, send me an email. I think it would fit your needs quite nicely. Also available are a pair of DM 302's.
