Jan 10, 2002 6:28 PM | | Hi all. Recently built a system consisting of paradigm monitor 7 mains, cc370 center channel and a marantz SR-5200 A/V receiver. When in any surround sound mode the center channel hisses excessively and is not just hissy, it almost has some popping too. All the levels are equal and when I put my ear next to my mains there is barely any audible hiss. All the channels are at 0DB. Can the speaker be a defect or possibly the receiver be at fault? |
