DTS NeoFelizardo
Jan 11, 2002 2:46 PM
Hello
I've noticed I cannot enable DTS Neo on my Denon 3801 when using digital signals from my HDTV decoder(Sony HD100) or from DVDs encoded with only ProLogic. All I ever get is regular DPL. Is this how it should be?
With other digital sources (Sony PS2 playing video games, cd player), I have no problems converting the signal to DTS Neo. Is this because these sources use PCM?
Thanks for any input.

It seems that explaining my problem to others helped me figure it out.
I just had to change the DVD output to PCM for Prologic movies, and I had to turn the Dolby Digital Auto Select to "off" on my HD receiver in order to use DTS: Neo.
