It MAY be the best choice but you'll have to experiment with different locations in YOUR listening room to know for sure. In the left hand corner(to the left of my left main) was the best spot in my room but unfortunately I had to move my sub(due to space constraints) behind our new Toshiba 50H81 HDTV which is nestled in a recessed wall. I definitely preferred the previous location for sound but the new location hides the sub completely so it's kinda a trade off. Still, the sound issue is more important but there were no other alternatives in my situation. Good Luck.
Depends upon the roomBryan

Normally along a long wall is best for it. Sound wise you will want to put it in your listening position and crawl around on the floor, listening for when it completely disappears (music is preferable here) and then stick the sub there. Just make sure you calibrate it before and after.
