Hi Everyone. Need your help again please.

I want to mount a set of speakers I have. I was thinking of either using speaker stands OR mounting the speakers directly to the side of my Stereo Cabinet.

I've attached a picture to help clarify.

What do you think. Am I out to lunch with this concept.

If I am, how high should a speaker stand be?

Thanks a million for your help.

Having the speakers that close together would not be beneficial to sound imaging. Place the speakers on stands, and spread them out for best sound.

not only would they be too close together, unless they are sheilded you will have magnetic interference. Also the vibration will really mess with any DVD or CD playback. in a word... bad idea, sorry. Go to ebay and look at some inexpensive speaker stands...

Thanks for the advice. Makes a lot of sense now that I read your comments.

Thanks a million, you just saved me a lot of head aches.
