A question for current HDTV users.Jazzy

Are you using your HDTV mainly for DVD's,satellite, or over the air programming? I've been eying the Mitsubishi widescreens and plan to view most HD programming via Direct TV or Dish Network. Over the air HD broadcast would be a plus if available in my area (Wash. Metro). I'd prefer a built in HD tuner for simplicity. Are the current outboard or internal HD recievers capable of all formats available for HD viewing of would multible receivers be required? -PS- I have a DVD prog. scan question, but I'll post it seperate from this one.

if you're refering to wash.dc, over the air will give you alot more programming; all local networks are broadcasting HD material during primetime with PBS constantly and the news and a few soaps during the day. if you go with an outboard tuner make sure connection is compatiable with monitor; with DVI coming this may become a big issue for current HD ready monitors. most HD tuners i've come across(sony, panasonic, samsung, zenith,RCA)are capable of all currently used formats . I'd personally go for the built-in tuner(preferably with directv included), it would make things simplier.
