| help with audio shelf ideas | jwd1 Feb 24, 2002 4:33 PM | | Due to the layout of my wall unit, I need to place my center speaker in the cabinet just below my Television, along with my receiver and DVD player. Unfortunately, I only have one built-in shelf, on which the speaker will go. I need suggestions for a movable shelf I can buy so that I won't have to stack my receiver on top of the DVD player in the lower part of the cabinet.
Any ideas would be appreciated. |

| Thanks for all these ideas, but... | jwd1 Feb 25, 2002 5:54 AM | | I was hoping to take a much easier route than actually installing a 2nd full-length shelf in the cabinet. I really just looking for something big enought to fit over my receiver (17 inches wide) and lift the DVD player up enough (2-3 inches) to provide ventilation space.
Any ideas in that regard would be great! |
| Thanks for all these ideas, but... | pinetop Feb 25, 2002 6:02 AM | | ok Once again cut some wood strips or blocks 3 inches high to fit on top of receiver then mount dvd on the blocks or wood stips |
