After hitting all of the a/v and mass market places in the area looking for an HDTV monitor > 50" I am more confused than when I started. I have set a budget of around $3000. I will use this tv to watch Directv 70% of the time and dvd the rest of the time. Any particular model recommendations? Should I go with a 16:9 or a 4:3 tv? Please be gentle, I'm a rookie.
