May 8, 2002 9:08 AM | | My Sony wega KV-27FS12 has started making a high pitch squeal sound (about 4-6 KHz) not coming from the speakers. Needless to say it is very annoying. It comes and goes and probably would be gone while a tv repair man looked at it. It seems to have gotten worse since I plugged the audio out jack to my stereo reciever (I unplugged it since then). I got the tv a year ago, and brought the previous wega back for the same problem. BEven though I seem to have gotten two wega's in a row with the same problem, I cannot find anyone else on the Internet who has this squeal problem. I tried a line conditioner (monster level 2) and there does not seem to be anything in my apartment that might interfere electrically. Anyone have this problem and any ideas? |
