My Denon 3802 keeps cutting out - help please.mrsub

It hasn't done it in a while but today it did.

When I turn on my receiver I get no sound. It has something to do with it either not receiving the signal from my DVD, satellite, cd player etc. or not outputing the signal.I am running all digital signals, no analog. When I turn it on the orange "auto" light goes on but not the "Dolby Digital" orange light above it. Once it is working the "DD" is on. The test tones also do not work. What usually fixes it is a reset of the microprocessor.
Thoughts?

Would exchange it if you can. Perhaps give Denon a call and see what they say.

Never had that problem with mine, check the back of the unit to see if any speaker wires are shorting out touching one another etc.All it takes is one wire and the amp shuts down protect mode keep us posted. (good luck) bob d.
