My Yamaha is acting up. The volume to the center channel cuts out. If I jiggle the volume knob, I can usually get the sound to come back on but then the light on the volume knob usually goes out. Is this a short in the wiring or something more serious? Is it something I can fix.
The volume to the other channels (right, left and rears) works fine even when the sound to the center has cut out.
Very strange problem. I have tried anti static spray and contact cleaner in the volume knob but that hasn't helped.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

May 9, 2002 1:16 PM | | If the volume knob blinks like you said, then something is most definately wrong, unless it blink when you use it regularly. So get it to a service place and get it taken care of since it's under warranty. |
