| Looking for A/V Receiver Suggestions . . . | svtkobra7 Jul 29, 2002 7:38 AM | | I am building a home theater system from scratch. I have the DM604 S3 (fronts), DM601 S3 (rears), LCR600 S3 (center), and ASW 650 (sub). I am looking for suggestions for a good A/V receiver or processor and amplifier. Thanks for your help. Specifically, what will match up well with this system? |

| re: Looking for A/V Receiver Suggestions . . . | svtkobra7 Aug 1, 2002 3:50 PM | | My real priority is to maximize the potential of these speakers. I would like to spend around $2000. I am thinking Rotel, possibly the RSX 1065 ($2000). Another option would be to get the RSP 1066 and RMB 1075 ($2500). Another option would be to pair the RSP 1066 with RMB 1095. The 1075 is 125x5 and the 1095 is 200x5.
Of these options, what would be best? |

Although B&Ws are known for their demands on amps, the 600 series (at least the Series 2 models that I auditioned) is pretty forgiving and should work fine with either a midlevel receiver or entry level separates. It all depends on your budget. |
