As far as drivers are concerned. 6.5" has been an absolute min standard for me. Whatever you decide try to find speakers that reach down to 60hz.
If you cant, 80hz minimum.
I have not heard a small sat/sub setup yet that did not have a gap in the mids.
Sometimes compromizing with a large center will be sufficient. |

Oct 23, 2002 10:39 PM | | I have 8" mains and a 6.5" sub and the sound is unbelievable. The bass isn't too much, the sub is sonically invisible. Listen to everything before you buy and what you like the most, buuy it.
