| Yamaha NS-A60X...wall mounting??? | Tennabrae Oct 21, 2002 3:21 PM | | Can anyone give me some ideas on wall mounting these big boys? The only thing that I can think of it building a shelf onto the wall and have them resting there..If anyone else has an idea please let me know. Thank you.
P.S. They weight 24 lbs. each. |

Two that come to mind are - VantagePoint and OmniMount. The cost? About $45-75 (each). They are built to hold 50-60lbs. so you're only consideration is finding wall studs to attach them to. I don't advocate speaker wall-mounts into wall-board ... that would be risking a potential disaster in my estimation.
Hope this helps you

| Are they rear ported speakers? | pinetop Oct 22, 2002 6:35 AM | | If they are you would need at least 8inches of room from the wall for best sound quality. bob d |
| Are they rear ported speakers? No, ... | woodman Oct 24, 2002 3:40 PM | | ... they're not. They have a port in front, not in back. If they had ports in the back of cabinet, I wouldn't have suggested wall-mounts for 'em.
