I highly recommend Integra receivers. I have had my 9.1 for a little over a year now and love it. The build quality is solid, plus the receivers can be upgraded. I was actually looking to sell mine and get the newer 9.1v2 model. I have no experience with their DVD players but can't imagine them not being that good. Let me know if you have any questions.

I understand that the price-gap is less in the US and, if that's the case, I would likely be recommending their receivers in terms of overall sound quality and construction. Unfortunately, their higher price is simply not justified in my area (IMO). |

Oct 22, 2002 1:23 PM | | .... i have the DTR7.1 and the dvd/cd modelDSP5.1 (i think). had them over a year now and sill like them a lot. plenty of power to drive my speakers, multizone capability, no breakdowns. i think the integra upgrades over onkyo are worth something; question is how good a deal can you get on integra vs onkyo. i got a good deal. |

I have them hooked up to a Paradigm surround system and it sounds great. It is most used for DVD viewing. This was my introduction to home theater and I have been extremely happy with the set-up. Keep reading the boards, there are many knowledgeable folks around here. |
