| DVD-Audio discs? | oznorfed Oct 23, 2002 6:23 PM | | What is DVD-Audio?
I noticed that some sites are selling Queen's "A Night at the Opera" on DVD-Audio in dts.
What is this, and do you have to play it in a dvd player or can you also play this disc in a regular cd player?
Also if anyone has this disc how is it?
thanks,

They also have Dolby Digital (and sometimes DTS, like the Queen), that you can play with any DVD player.
They don't play in CD players.

| Here's a good link about dvd-audio | caldera Oct 23, 2002 8:29 PM | | http://www.dvdangle.com/dvd_audio/upgrading_to_dvda.html
It's kind of wordy but very detailed.
My Linkin Park "Reanimation" dvd-audio album is awesome. This is a great demo disc for surround music. AND the music is good too AND this type of music fits the surround format very well-not all music is suited for 5.1 channel listening.
