|  A question about backlighting? | goldberg Oct 23, 2002 11:49 PM | | I recently purchased an 11 watt looped flurescent light to place behind my T.V monitor.Now without getting to technical,and without using any kind of meter to measure light,how do I know if the brightness of the light is correct?I've placed it on the floor behind the t.v facing up towards the ceiling.The light is a "brilliant white" is this the right colour?Should the light be a different colour i.e ultra violet,or off white? If anyone can help I would much appreciate it.Thanks in advance. |

|  The color should be slightly off-white. | KiD SmokE Oct 24, 2002 2:19 PM | | Most florescent light fixture that "diffuser" cover on them (picture below) do produce almost natural color (6500k degree..sun light).
