Go out and rent Insomnia. For the first time, I was simply awestruck by the video images on a DVD. I've always enjoyed the picture quality on my 47" Panny but I was simply blown away by the level of detail and the quality of the colours when watching this film. The scenes where they are flying over ice-caps at the beginning are simply amazing and the Alaskan scenery is best described as "eye-candy"!

In addition, it's a pretty good flick IMO!
I agree, picture quality comes first.KiD SmokE

No matter how good a movie is, if picture quality is not good, then I will not watch it.

Here is another movie with amazing picture qaulity (superbit):

would you not want to watch it? :)

there are just some movies that transcend picture quality i think and you can watch no matter what and enjoy. same with music, can always appreciate it coming out of a two bit radio or out of wilson grand slamms. it's all in the heart.
Well, may be I watch it for thr first time :)KiD SmokE

I have alot of movies on VHS tapes (StarTreck series, Starwars, Westerns, etc..) which I don't watch because its inferior picture.

But on the same note, A&E network now is showing restored version of Godfather I&II and it is candy to the eye (very crisp and colorful). I watch it anytime it comes on although I have seen it 100 times before :)

It's all in the way the blouse is worn, slightly off the shoulder with the first three buttons undone works best. But don't catch a chill. bob d
I always preferred to let my ample busom hold it up....Kam

and go for the dual off the shoulder look, leaving some cleavage open and letting my gravity defying chest hold the wispy cloth up by itself....

I just rented it last weekend, I too found myself telling my wife 4 times (she barely listened to one comment I am sure, she thinks I take this stuff WAY too seriously) how amazing that Blue Ice Flying scene was, very cool. I was a little diappointed by the film, victim of super high expectations I suppose, Williams and Pacino is a strong duo. Probably personal taste though, I like the chase of the killer more, than the plot after the killer's identity was known.

Great visuals though, I concur. For a darker story, worse because it is based on a true story, try "In the Bedroom", with marissa Tomei. Chilling.

Rock on, Go Blackhawks, and I am proud to say once again, My Fighting IRISH!!!
