I know this is really lame -- but I can't get my picture in picture to work. I have a Pioneer Elite television, cable and a cable box. I have a splitter but I don't know how to hook-up. Any help?

Thanks

What type of signal is your TV's PIP input looking for?markw

Very few have built in PIP tuners and among those that do, you may still need another cable box to descramble some channels.

Most TV's with PIP inputs have a yellow jack, which means that it needs a composite video (yellow RCA jack) signal, which means that the (RF) cable signal going into your cable box must have gone thru a tuner of some sort before your PIP input can use it.

This can usually be obtained from your friendly neighborhood VCR. Even then, depending on your cable supplier you might not be able to tune in scrambled stations without another cable box.

For more info, please refer to your TV's owner's manual.
