I've been involved in consumer electronics all of my life, and I've never heard of this company - ever. My advice ... RUN, don't walk away from this deal as fast as possible. It sounds very much like "white-van" marketing to me. With all of the myriad of choices from well-known and respected companies to choose from, why would you even consider going with a company that no one has ever heard of? And at a pretty stiff pricetag for good measure. Not a good idea at all, IMO.

P.S. Their specs are very un-impressive to me ... especially the "dynamic power" rating. That's a tipoff to me that there's a scam afoot!

No modern speaker that "costs" that much should use pressure clips. No tower speaker should only go to 100 hz and no sub can do 20 - 270 hz (plus its +-6db). Sorry if someone can think of an exception to this, but it definatly seems like a skam to me.

This is another "white van speaker scam". They're all over the place. Cypress Audio speakers are essentially the same as Epiphany speakers, which means they're made of cheap particle board, junk drivers, and have no actual crossovers installed.

Do a Google search on Epiphany Loudspeakers and you'll find plenty of info from those who were burned. Cypress Audio is another name for the same thing, they change names every so often to try to stay ahead of the suckers.

I'm glad you asked before you bought. I wish more people would do the same. :-)
