BB may have it for $899- I suggest going to a non-chain local dealer because you can probably get this set even cheaper. FWIW, here's my post from a couple days ago on HDTV v. analog.

Incidentally, I was in a similar dilemma (knowing I wanted a tube set) wondering analog v. HDTV but only having room for a 32. I bought the Toshiba 32HF72 for about $1050 and wish I would have pocketed the extra $350 by going with the analog set. I just think that while it is great for progressive scan DVDs, I'm on digital cable and don't get a lot of benefit. I thought the HD would tide me over, but just don't think it was worth the extra dosh. I intended on buying a large widescreen HDTV in a couple years when I buy a different house.
