Bose AM-5 for rear surround speakers?kendoo3

I've has these speakers in storage for years and the small cubes would actually fit into my current home theater nicely. I need to ceiling mount the rear speakers. BUT, if they aren't the way to go I won't use them. I'm a little confused as to where I would place the bass module. I imagine I would lose some effect if I place it too closely to my subwoofer.

I actually used them as rear surround a few years ago and they did a great job. The bass module was nice because it was placed under the sofa and added a little "umph" of the bass that was sent to the rears instead of the bass sent to the .1 channel.

I think they are great for surrounds. Many people will disagree simply because of the fact that they are bose, but if you have them, then give it a shot. At worst, if you don't like them, you don't use them. But at least this way you can say you tried, yes?
