BUT, if they aren't the way to go I won't use them. I'm a little confused as to where I would place the bass module. I imagine I would lose some effect if I place it too closely to my subwoofer. |

I think they are great for surrounds. Many people will disagree simply because of the fact that they are bose, but if you have them, then give it a shot. At worst, if you don't like them, you don't use them. But at least this way you can say you tried, yes? |
