| Direct view CRT HDTV monitor for $1K? | BradR Nov 16, 2003 8:01 AM | | I am looking at getting a new 30" 16:9 HDTV monitor. As my budget is around 1K my only options that I am aware of are two models by Samsung and one by Phillips. Are either one of these moniters any good or should I wait a year or two until the price drops and there are more options avalible. I plan to upgrade with a HDTV decoder for over the air broadcasts within the next year but it will be mostly for watching DVDs. Thanks!
PS I simply do not have room now for a larger projection TV
