Nov 16, 2003 7:09 PM | | My parents are interested in buying one of these two rear projection TVs from a local Tweeter store in the San Diego area. Which provides the better picture and reliability? Which of these two would you buy, or would you buy something else. Due to space limitations, they are not interested in a CRT rear projection TV. Thanks in advance for any input/advice.

Nov 18, 2003 7:22 AM | | I looked at both models recently in the local Tweeters. If I had to buy one of em I'd go with the Samsung DLP. I found the picture to be brighter, sharper and with a "depth" and feel the Sony product just lacked. Also Samsung's on the way up Sony's been on a downslide for years.
That's my choice for what it's worth...
