But JIC you're serious, why don't you do something positive instead, and recommend something you do like. What would you prefer, nu-metal? Please, most of it's shlock (notable exceptions: Papa Roach, Deftones, Slipknot). That whining guy from Korn can't even sing and is so full of himself, I'm surprised he doesn't implode.

I'm no Matellica expert, but people were raving about this CD as the greatest thing released in the last decade. Only one reviewer had the same view as you, namely: what the hell is the raving about - sounds like garbage. I like good metal (Pain of Salvation, The Gathering, Royal Hunt) but it sounds like this isn't one for me. |

On the contrary, they play a very tight set. Is it just too angry for you? It certainly is dark. That turns some people off so much that they can't appreciate the music on face value. |
