May 14, 2001 7:00 PM | | I unearthed this forgotten gem in my CD collection the other day. A wonderful album that's optimistic and at times angry (but always that deceptively upbeat angry). I love every track on this one, and sometimes I wonder why it wasn't more popular. Anyone else share my sentiments? |

I recently gave Only Everything another shot in the CD and still feel its a weak effort. I kinda think she was being influenced/pushed by record label to give them something they could market for a wider audience (IMHO). I also found her work with the Blake Babies brilliant. It's almost crimminal how a wonderful artist like this, who can't be pre packaged into a specific category for a favored consumer demographic is virtually ignored.
