Demetrio, when you send me the Italian & Spanish comp I completely forgot to ask you if you knew this gem. That was Teddy Bautista at his best.
I can see that nothing escapes your 'absolute progger' olfact...

The Caravan catalogue is being remastered and reissued with additional tracks on each CD, may unreleased live tracks. A few of them are alread available where I am, including If I Could Do It, For Girls That Grow Plump, and Cunning Stunts.

On a personal note, I thing In The Land of Grey and Pink is an outstanding album, and For Girls That Grow Plump is very good also. I don't find much of interest on Waterloo Lily, however. These are the only one's I've heard, so two out of three ain't bad.

No one did it any better than Barclay James Harvest from England.....
Try Gone To Earth, Once Again, Other Short Stories or Octoboron.

Actually, the Baby James Harvest LP has one of the best EPIC songs
I have ever heard (and that goes for Genesis) called Summer Soldier. That song is worth the price of admission alone but overall Baby James Harvest is my 2nd favorite LP after Gone to Earth.
No one mentioned Par Lindh Project?!KevB

From Sweden, one of the great new prog rock groups, with Emerson/Wakeman like keyboards, ethereal Renaissance style (and gorgeous) vocalist, and crunching heavy guitar work. Mundus Incompertus is an epic album, with both classical and modern rock influences.

All are great suggestions!!
Surprised that nobody listed Aphrodites Child "666" (Greek?). I believe Vangelis was part of that - and the newer group Enigma had roots there as well.

Also - HAWKWIND - well, they were not very technical, so maybe nevermind!
Aphrodite's ChildBarryL

Vangelis was part of Aphrodite's Child. I recall that there is a great accoustic song on 666 called Sarogosa Sea or Aegian Sea.
