| Since I can't check in later, Merry Christmas to all my friends on Rave Recordings! | Swish Dec 24, 2001 4:30 AM | | Also, where the heck have J, Audio Girl, Snowbunny, and YECH been lately? Anyone hear from them? I hope they are all ok and just too busy to check in with us. I know Snow is in Mexico and probably has limited internet access for now, but I have no idea about the rest of them. I have to attend no less than 3 parties today, so I had to get me post in early. Regards, Paul aka "Swish" |

| Back at ya homey | YECH Dec 24, 2001 3:24 PM | | I've been busy putting together my new stereo rig.
Got my Wright-Sound Mono 8 amps in and am awaiting delivery of new Coincident Triumph Signature UHS speakers and Nordost cable and ICs.
I assure you I will be back with a vengence to keep those godless proggers on there toes and raise hellwith this Masterdork fellow.
Too bad I spent all my money on stereo equipment. We had to do Little YECHs Christmas shopping at Salvation Army and The Dollar Store.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Happy holidays to all my fellow miscreant weirdo music lovers.
I raise my glass of ale to you all.....

| Sounds like one beauty of a system, YECH. Any $ left for beer? | Swish Dec 26, 2001 5:41 AM | | I just bought a case of Hop Devil Ale, brewed by Victory Brewing out of Downingtown, PA, and it's excellent! As for equipment, I'm keeping my 7.1 channel rig "as is" for fear of murder at the hands of Mrs. Swish. I can live with most of it, but I really want a new DVD player since my Toshiba won't play CD-Rs and is relatively dated by today's standards. Perhaps a new progressive scan job will be the ticket, but I need to keep it below my wife's radar screen. She did buy me a beautiful Guild acoustic guitar for Christmas, which was a big surprise. I didn't think she could pick out one that I'd like, but she enlisted the assistance of one of my best friend's who knows guitars and rolled a strike. It plays like a dream. Keep us updated on the new rig, and keep fighting the good fight against the proggers. :^) Ciao, Swish |
| You said the B word | YECH Dec 26, 2001 5:26 PM | | I have my line up for new years eve all set.
The main course is Dogfish Head Ale.
A couple pale ales and a couple browns.
Next is a Czech pilsner that is in the fridge at work.I have a great job at the sewer plant. They let me keep beer in the break room fridge.
I've read about some of the micro brewerys in Pa.You should be proud.I hear they are quite good.
A new guitar for x-mass??You did fine.

| Is anyone having a white Christmas? | RPM Dec 24, 2001 7:03 PM | | Not THAT kind YECH! It's supposed to be mid-upper 30's and sunny here tomorrow in the mid-Atlantic. Oh well, I guess that's better than rain! Merry Christmas all! Rick |
| Good morning and Merry Christmas, and weather | DLD Dec 25, 2001 10:48 AM | | 50 and sunny (North Tx.). Just waiting for the ice storms, they'll get here sooner or later. |
| That's an understatement... | Stone Dec 27, 2001 9:42 AM | | I had a white Christmas. We've gotten two feet of snow here since Sunday (no exaggeration). The lake effect is hitting us hard because of the water temperature being so warm and apparently this system is "stuck" in place, so it just keeps snowing and snowing and snowing... Snow forecasted every day through Monday. Way to bring in the new year, huh?
Merry belated Christmas and Happy New Year
Stone
