seats for his concert, plus back stages

Wild horses couldn't keep me away!
I heard he is opening with a fab version
of the Stones' Gimme Shelter. I'll
give a review after the concert. Also,
gonna take my Pink Houses LP and have
him sign this baby :-). Even Mr. Mary
is excited about going and getting to
meet JM.

I forget the title (if there is any- I think it is just titled 'John Mellencamp'), but it has the songs 'Your Life Is Now' and 'Eden Is Burning'... just GREAT stuff (even if you THINK you're not a fan of his)!!! Whatever the recording and mastering engineers did on this one needs to be emulated by other less than apt engineers on their projects!! Enjoy the concert! |

I have that CD, and couldn't agree more.
His new CD -- Cuttin' Heads -- is supposed
to be released in the Fall. The first cut
was released a week or so ago, and has
received good press. In addition, JM is
doing the music for a Stephen King play/musical.
I don't have much information on it but will
try to find out more.
JM is very special to me. When the 20-year-old
was something like 20-months-old, he used to dance
like crazy to Hurts So Good & Jack & Diane.
Brings back some of
those special moments :-)
