Aug 26, 2001 5:21 PM | | I picked up a used copy of Mighty Sam's "Give It Up To Love" on Saturday. I paid way too much for it because this was the JVC/xrcd (extended resolution) version and I wanted to hear if it sounded any better than a "regular" CD. After listening I have to admit that it sounds pretty darn good.
Anyhow, I made some copies just to see if the second generation digital sounded as good as the first and I can't tell any difference with my "over 50" ears! I am willing to send out some copies to others so you can judge "xrcd quality" and give me some feedback on your impressions. Trades are appreciated but not necessary. E-mail me if you are interested. BTW, for those of you unfamiliar with him, McClain is a smooth sounding soul and blues artist. |
