Greetings and a comp-4-trade updatedbi

Hope you all had a great weekend. There wasn't much action last week but a few comps were added. Hope I got them all. If not, please feel free to post your own announcements :-)

Classical sampler (for the neophyte)(RPM)
HDCD.comp (RPM)
The Colour of His Eyes (music for the open mind) (RPM)
Rick with an M added three new comps last week including his Musical Diversity comp which I had the pleasure of beta (alpha?) testing and critiquing (actually I had nothing but compliments, except for the silly name my copy had) and a couple others that look good.

Lost in the 70's (Rick H)
Rick with an H has added one with a title that sounds like a good description of my teen years ... partly because I was trying to avoid some of the music on this comp :-).

Half Gone Bonus Disc
And Dave with an I has added a bonus disc to go along with his Half Gone comp if any of the recipients of that fine comp would care for a copy. It's more of my favorites from this year. Of course, as usual, others are also welcome to ask for a copy of this or other comps too.

Dave

NP: Girl Talk - a comp with a few of my favorite ladies like Bjork, Chan Marshall, Sue Garner, Beth Orton, PJ Harvey, Meshell Ndegeocello and some early Joan Armatrading.
Thanks Dave, btw do you know how many comps are now listed?RPM

I'm too lazy to count 'em up and I'm surely not asking YOU to, but maybe you already know. It is getting to be an amazing collection.

Rick (with an M and, the coolest comp names ;-)
not a clue ...dbi

but maybe someone with more interest in finding out than me will count them sometime and post the results :-)

It's a little cumbersome to count because the comp listings for some of us (ChipB, BradH, dbi and Rae) are in different files to keep the main page loading quickly and also to keep graphics off the main page.

dbi, just a suggestion: when you do the new comp updates, could you insert a link to your comp-4-trade site in the post so it's easy to access the comps & tracklists? Oh, thanks for that plug!! :o)
will try to remember in the future ... but here's the link nowdbi

doesn't everybody that's interested already have it bookmarked?
