I never realised it did crossfading, fade out/in etc and it was so easy to use. I know Roxio tends to get a bad press round here but I quite like it.
Only thing is I'm experiencing the same problem as you in that the preview does not always pick up the changes I make. Since I've yet to burn a disc with crossfading on EasyCD my question is did it work for you ie did all your crossfades work regardless of what the preview played?

Apr 17, 2002 4:18 AM | | I made a quickie comp.. and decided to try adding crossfades to only a few tracks (about 4 I think).. there's a little box that says "apply to all tracks" which I clearly DID NOT check..
I burned the disc.. and here's what happened.
All it did was move the point at which the track number changed!
AND.. it did this on every track..
So the track number changed from 1. to 2. about two seconds into the end of track one, but the music didn't start until after the <i>music</i> of track one was over..
and the odd thing was.. it got worse with each track.. by the second-to-last track, the track number changed from 19. to 20. almost 15 seconds from the time the actual music of track 19. ended! (and no crossfade either)..
This was my first try witout too much "playing" to try different things.. so, I'm not sure if I did something wrong or what.. and I haven't even begun to play around with the Soundstream feature..
I'll post further updates as I figure stuff out.

I've made up a comp and crossfaded all the tracks with varying times from 4 to 16 seconds and I plan to burn later today. They sound ok in preview but I'll let you know how I go on.
