| of course I want one.. | Masonjar Apr 17, 2002 4:20 AM | | did you get my Living in a Cave comp? I guess that could be my trade? As always though, if there's anything else you want/need, let me know.

| Speaking of comps, Mason... | Mr MidFi Apr 17, 2002 7:24 AM | | Got yer Murky Rev disc. Very nicely done. A lot of interesting, trippy musical ideas in these songs. The hippy-gay-muppet vocal takes a little getting used to, but the overall effect is mesmerizing!
What can I offer you in thanks and tribute? My latest is a salute to 35 years of head music (old and new), but you probably have about half of it. |
| I just got 2 from you.. | Masonjar Apr 17, 2002 7:36 AM | | the Accoustic and the Meta Mix.. both are very nice..
what's on the "Head" Music cd?
curious minds want to know...
I don't recall seeing that on comp4trade, but it's been down the past week or so..
I'm glad you like the Rev stuff.. Jon's voice has been inexplicably getting higher and higher with each subsequent album.. It even took *me* (longtime fan dude) a few listens to get used to his voice on All is Dream!

| Got it. | Stone Apr 17, 2002 7:25 AM | | Yeah, I got your Living In a Cave comp yesterday, but haven't had a chance to listen to it. I'm looking forward to hearing Thursday (among the other stuff on the comp).
I owed you even before you sent me that, so don't worry about sending me anything.
Oh, and I guess "Baudelaire" is pretty glammy. I never really thought about it before though. Interesting observation.

| You are indeed a kind soul | Jim Clark Apr 17, 2002 5:37 AM | | Thanks.
I'm looking forward to it very much. Of the 19 tracks listed I'm only familiar with 2 for sure, Trail of Dead and the Lemon Drops track. Not sure about the Lucksmiths song. I'm not good at remembering song names and my CD is all the way downstairs...
It looks like another good one.
Thanks again,

| re: New comp available | maf Apr 17, 2002 5:45 AM | | Thanks Stone,
I promised myself I'd swear off comps for a while because I've got so much music to catch-up on. (It took great restraint to not ask for a copy of dbi's latest.) But how can I say no to a Stone comp? Hopefully, It'll suck and won't lead to even more new purchases. :-)
I am criminally behind on my comp making, but I will reciprocate at some point, (if I can find anything that I think you don't already have).

| Baudelaire by ...Trail... | Masonjar Apr 17, 2002 6:08 AM | | doesn't this song strike you as very 'glam?' My friend pointed out that it could almost be an old Bowie song..
I put that song on one of my recent comps too, it's a good one!
