Rave Recs Favorites of 2001allears

I am listening to both discs tonight and am enjoying most of the music but what I noticed most was the old format of this site. Check out the covers for these two discs and you'll see what I mean. Our current surroundings are austere and somewhat spartan in comparison. A pretty girl with headphones (no offense intended) and a swirly design used to emcompass this listening room. Now we have a CD player and a big black box along with distracting flashing ads. I know there was a collective sigh of disapproval from the people who post here after the change but we are all now used to it and have moved forward.
What's my point? None really. Just an observation that it's about the music, not the artwork on the walls.
