|   Hey Darius, have you heard about this new Rakim release? | Rae
Apr 18, 2002 9:37 AM | | I was reading about some upcoming hip-hop releases this morning and ran across the news that Rakim's new record is going to be produced by Dr. Dre. The album is titled <i>Oh My God</i> and should be out sometime this summer. It supposedly also features some production work from Hi-Tek and DJ Premier. That sounds really dope.
I'd almost label this my most anticipated hip-hop release of this year if it wasn't for new albums dropping in the next few months from Black Star, Atmosphere, Talib Kweli, the Roots, Common, Mos Def, Brother Ali, the first Black Thought solo rec, Dead Prez, Mr. Dibbs, and <i><b>Lauryn Hill</i></b>...

I bet you're right... I know I'll pick it up the day it comes out in any case. DJ Premier--very exciting to have on the record, and speaking of which, Gang Starr is supposed to have a new one out this summer too.
Sounds like this will be a great summer for new albums!
