Ideas for new Comp4trade.HYFI
Apr 22, 2002 2:59 AM
First I'll add my thanks to Dave for all of his work that enabled me to become part of this group.

I have an idea. Maybe we could all post a list of our comps together under 1 post from time to time. Then we could each copy and save them to a word file if interested. From time to time we can either repost the whole thing or just post everyones latest list from after the first post. I realize some people have large lists so if we all create a word file they could be emailed upon request to whoever is interested.

If any one else has ideas please post them here and we can all decide what to do about this loss.

given the limits of the size of our posts here, I think maybe it would be rough for some of us to list ALL our comps in one post, but maybe we could have a specific day where all of us would list several of our most recent comps, that way we all can know what's available out there. That way we could copy off the page into a text document what comps we might be interested in. The idea of a travelling word document is good too, though formatting issues might be a problem, as not everyone has the same word processing software. I'll be interested to hear some more ideas :)

I'm all in favour of something 'like' to replace comp4trade. Even though I never had a list up on the old site, I've got a few I could offer.

If just adding a list on this site on say a given day of what we can offer is the best we can do then let's go for it. But it maybe best to post just once a month otherwise the list won't change that much.

Cheers

I used to be a member of one - you can e-mail the Group address & it filters down to those who have registered I've no idea how much maintenance or management is involved but I seem to remember that anyone can set up a new group and subsequently get people to register - anyone any idea ?

Cheers

Les
