Music for the road...nobody
Aug 16, 2002 11:21 AM
Well, I'm gonna spend about 9 hours in a car tomorrow and probably about 24 hours or more driving over the next week or so. I figured this would be a good chance to get some recommendations for some good driving music. Any suggestions?

Right now I am listening to a cd I received this afternoon and that I think it's great for the road: <b>TALK TALK "Natural History - The Very Best of Talk Talk"</b>.

Another great one I surely would take on a trip would be <b>PORCUPINE TREE "Stupid Dream"</b>.

Regards
Demetrio.

I recommmend, in no particular order, jazz, punk, & roots music, especially the blues. Wait a minute, those are the forms I like best. Maybe it's because they're good road music...

if you get tired of rockin' and ravin' how about some comedy like "The Bride of Firesign" By Firesign Theatre or the National lampoon box entitled "Buy This Box or We'll Shoot This Dog" something like that.
