Two new additions to my "family". (Off topic)Swish

I just picked up a Mesa Boogie Mark III, regarded by many as the finest tube amp ever produced by Mesa. I can't begin to describe the sweet tones I get out of this thing. For its size it's also very loud. Now I need a volume attenuator so I can drive the tubes without losing my hearing. A Marshall Power Brake should do the trick.

To its right is my newest guitar, a Fender Stratocaster Special Edition. The picture doesn't do it justice. The sunburst colors are beautiful, as is the striped maple on the body. It plays like a dream, with low, fast action.

Do I sound happy? You bet I am! Now I need to practice, practice, practice. :-)

...but sometimes you just need that Mesa Boogie sound.

Nice!

What kind of tube compliment does it take?

I played in a band for 10 tears where the lead player used a Boogie -- it had a switch on it that limited the output to 15 watts, and that is all we ever needed. Might be the same amp you bought.

As far as the Strat, well, what can I say ?
