Dec 2, 2002 7:26 AM | | Got this little beauty last week from Davey boy and what can I say, he had me hooked from the first few notes of that double bass on the opening track and after that it's a gem the whole way through. I think I'll have to pick up Chore of Enchantment when I get the chance. Great comp Dave and tasty artwork too.
Also thanks for the additional comp Uncle Davey's Holiday Mixer. Has that Flaming Lips track been on another comp it sounds very familiar? anyway there's a couple of discs in the post for you.

I should also mention that Cornelius and Mr. Nasty contributed some of the songs. I thank them in the description at my <a href=http://members.surfbest.net/dbi@surfbest.net/dbicomps.htm#Roads_Are_Built_To_Wander><b>comp site</b></a> but forgot to add it to the liner notes.
The Flaming Lips song that closes the comp, Do You Realize?, was the single from Yoshimi and they play it a lot on alternative radio around here and it has probably been on other comps. Not mine, but maybe Troy? Seemed to fit well in that position after the big emotional Source Tags & Codes. And I followed it with a nice little Arto Lindsay track as the bonus from his latest.
