I haven't. He's the lead singer/song writer for Built To Spill. Ancient Melodies Of The Future is becoming one of my all-time fave albums.

And it's pretty damn good too. Half of it features slide electric guitar and the other half is mostly (slide) acoustic, which makes it kinda bluesy but it definitely isn't a blues album.

But if you don't have BtS's Perfect From Now On, Keep It Like A Secret, and/or There's Nothing Wrong With Love, get those first (in that order).

NP: Davey's Electric Lights comp (Zap Mama)
I have those first two.3-LockBox

as well as Ultimate Alternate Wavers. I like the last two albums the best, though (Keep It Like A Secret and Ancient Melodies).

Well worth owning for a BtS fan. It's got some excellent guitar playing and a couple of the songs, case in point Gone, that are as good as any BtS song. Sounds good on vinyl too, if these things matter to you.
