| Extraneous noises in the music. | DPM Feb 27, 2003 5:20 PM | | Have any of you discovered any extraneous noises in your recordings (ala John Bonham's squeaky kick drum peddle for example)? Recently, I was listening to Zeppelin's Houses Of The Holy disk, and I swear that I can hear a telephone ringing in the background during the instrumental break of The Ocean. Do any of you hear this too?

| I keep hearing my name being called when I listen to Black Sabbath... | DustyChalk Feb 27, 2003 5:52 PM | | ...I think there's a word for that. No, not "hallucinations", but sounds that, when combined, access your subconscious. I want to say "phosphenes", but that's the fireworks display you see when you rub your eyes...dammit, what is that word?!?!? |

| I'm going to have to use that as a "line"... | DustyChalk Feb 28, 2003 9:23 AM | | "Excuse me, my name is Ohgodohgod. Remember it, because you will be yelling it later." Or something like that. |
