Rank these five bands known for their slick & soulless, formulaic "corporate" sound. Hey, these are 8-track classics!

Styx
Boston
Foreigner
Journey
Heart

or better yet, don't. Enough of this silliness already.

1. Boston - Their first album was the blueprint. Criticized as "slick" and "overproduced," it was actually a demo tape created by a hobbeyist in his basement studio.

2. Journey - The first incarnation of this band was a musical tour de force. If you've ever seen the Woodstock movie, you know what a great band Santana had behind him. That was, pretty much, these guys. Then they hired Steve Perry and it all went to Helena Handbasket.

3. Heart - Still kinda like their first couple of albums. So sue me.

4. Foreigner - Sounded better on paper than in reality. Had their moments, which were few and far between. "Urgent" is on the short list of all-time worst songs.

5. Styx - Very, very, very, very bad. Hideously bad. Kilroy Was Here is the worst rock album ever...and that's a bold statement. Only "Sweet Madam Blue" keeps them one notch above Air Supply.
