Mar 1, 2003 4:16 PM | | Surfer dude, plays the kind of music you'd hear by the bonfire after the sun goes down. It's pretty good, but doesn't stand up well to repeated listenings. I got it on first hearing it at the store (was <I>quite</I> blown away), but playing it at home was kind of disappointing. There's one track that really stands out, so it's probably a keeper, and, quite possibly, since this is not my <I>usual</I> cup o' tea, I may just need to be in the right mood.

Mar 3, 2003 7:13 AM | | Is the name of his album. Its decent. Mostly slow, laid back acoustic stuff. I've heard him compared with Ryan Adams and John Mayer. Closer to Mayer than Adams. Its definitely good listening for a mellow mood. Coffee house rock i guess. |
