| Davey, are ya moving to Troy's favorite city? | Audio Girl Mar 1, 2003 1:54 PM | | Ya know, Austin, Texas. hehehe.
Mary |
| No, but I have spent some time in Austin | Davey Mar 1, 2003 2:10 PM | | Not a lot, but some. Along with San Antonio and DeSoto. |
| Well, if you ever come to Big D | Audio Girl Mar 1, 2003 2:27 PM | | I'll treat you and DLD to a brew of your choice or a nice, giant Bellini at Patrizio's. :-)
Mary |
| Bellinis? Patrizios? You got a date babe. (the other Dave) | DLD Mar 1, 2003 3:42 PM | | Hey Dave, Desoto is wihin stiking distance of Big D. Git yer butt up here. We'll all have a big ol par-teee! |
| Stiking Distance, Darlin'? What ya sippin' on tonight? ;-) | Audio Girl Mar 1, 2003 3:50 PM | | Wouldn't that be a gas to take dbi/Davey/Spencer to Patrizio's. He'd probably find a nice Texas filly he'd like there, don't ya think, Dave? |
| More fillys at Patrizios than all of Kentucky | DLD Mar 1, 2003 6:36 PM | | Good Lord. No more comment on that necessary. Of course, if he locates Sullivans in Austin, he may never leave there.
Not drinkin nothin for days after drinking all the beer in Baton Rouge and all the Martinis in Houston this week. Sippin decaf right now.
You having a good time listening to all that jazz on yer LP12? BTW, I'm thinking of hosting a vinyl shootout with a couple of inmates in a few weeks. I'll give you a holler when (if) I put it together. |
| Please let me know...I promise I'll be fun | Audio Girl Mar 1, 2003 9:10 PM | | and bring some vinyl. Also a lotta beer. A little more vinyl, lots more beer, plus some good Pinot Grigio for Ms. Nasty and myself.
I'm really enjoying the LP12. That's really an understatement. Playing about 45% jazz, 65% rock, indie, blues, pop, etc. But, I am getting to where I really love jazz. It's so fine...and its helping bridge a little of the music gap between me and Mr. Budget...aka Hubs. However, I still have a crush on Enimen. ;-) |
| yer on the list, at the TOP!! And, trades for Ella | DLD Mar 1, 2003 10:36 PM | | Prolly three weeks or so. I've met two of the other inmates, one of em did me a HUGE favor. Wait, so did the other. I'll be so humbled showing off my modest, (but SLOWLY improving), system. I'm going to invite anyone who wants to, to bring a TT as I have Phono 1 and Phono 2 on my pre and room for a second set up.
And the Ella is definitely up for grabs. You saw my list. Offer me sumptin and they're yours. The Ella and Louis LP is on Metro label, a reissue of the Verve release. I like it the most, but this just ain't my bag. So I've got four, near mint (heck, 2 of the covers are totally mint as they were still in shrink wrap with no warpage.) I believe the remaining three are on Columbia, Harmony, and Verve. I forgot to mention I scored a Charlie Byrd Christmas Carol/Guitar Solo effort (Goldmine = $20). That one is staying.
Hope the PG was good. It must have been. 45% jazz, 65% other huh? |
| I gotta go to bed | Audio Girl Mar 2, 2003 12:10 AM | | but hold on to those Ellas for me and we'll make a trade, dear heart (hopefully).
Cheers!
