| Got your comps, Mason. I'm in limbo... | Slosh Mar 2, 2003 4:58 AM | | ...at my parents' house for the weekend. (Moved out of my apt. on Friday. Close on Mon. - although all of my stuff is already at the new house). Couldn't really listen to anything yet because, well, my parants' circa 1986 Sony rack system in an 18' X 30' room with hardwood floors and doesn't exactly make for a pleasant listening environment. So this is were that "hall" DSP came from ;-)
My house, OTOH, sounds fantastic. Two foot thick stone walls and acoustic friendly dimensions :-). As I was moving my stuff in, the seller was moving his stuff out and listening to music on a POS JVC mini system and it still sounded pretty damn good.
Phone company says they can't hook me up 'til Saturday (and I called about it two weeks ago!) so I'll be MIA for a while. I've got a couple of decent ideas brewing for some new comps but probably won't be able to get to them for a while.
Well, anyway, just wanted to let you know they arrived and throw out a big-ass "Thanks"! :-) |
| omnifusion is awesome! | RPM Mar 2, 2003 8:36 AM | | Well, after one spin anyhow, hope my 2nd/3rd/...spins are as equally rewarding. Played a bit of nuclear cocktails (great title btw), but I guess I wasn't really in the mood for stuff like that when I listened.
Thanks for the surprises Mason.

| win some, lose some | Masonjar Mar 2, 2003 3:46 PM | | glad you liked Omnifusion.. I hadn't sent out any elektroniker stuff in a while, thought I'd push a few on some unsuspecting rave rekkerz..
Nuclear starts off (and ends) pretty aggro, but there's some really catchy stuff in the middle for all rock lovers to enjoy.. hope you were able to pick out a few you like..

(btw the wife shut me down last night when the GvsB's track hit from your TWO PARTS ROCK comp.. so, I need to find some time for that when she's not around (probably in my car!)) ;) |
