| I love used CD/DVD stores | DPM Mar 2, 2003 5:20 PM | | Yesterday, I decided to stop in at the local used music/movie shop to see if anything interesting was waiting on the shelves. I left with the following:
1) Robin Trower/Bridge Of Sighs (remaster) $7.00,
2) AC/DC/High Voltage (remaster) $5.00,
3) Paul Stanley solo album (remaster) $6.00, and
4) Space 1999 on DVD (sets 2 and 3) $10.00 a piece.
After tucking those little gems under my arm, I decided to check the King Crimson section just on the off chance that the store had stocked the band's latest title a few days early. They had. So I gleefully picked up The Power To Believe three days before its release date. I'll let you proggers know my thoughts on that one after I've had a chance to absorb the latest batch of musical mayhem wrought by Fripp and Company.

| A request... | DustyChalk Mar 3, 2003 2:16 PM | | ...can you specifically comment on the production (drum sounds, etc.)? I love "Machine" -- he produced one of my favourite albums, www.pitchshifter.com, and I'm dying to hear the new (King Crimson) one. PS You bastard! ;-) |
| Crimson | AD Mar 4, 2003 5:18 AM | | I got the new Crimson a week or two ago, and after one listen I wasn't that impressed, but I was listening to it at work, at very low volume, through computer speakers, so I definitely have to give it a few listens at home. |
